Privacy policy

What this covers

This policy covers the LeadSight website (leadsight.io) and how we handle information about visitors and customers. When we add customer accounts and online billing, we'll update this policy before those features launch.

What we collect

  • What you send us. When you fill out our contact form, we collect what you provide: your name, business name, trade, phone, email, current website, and your message. If you become a customer, we also collect the business information and materials needed to build and run your site.
  • How you found us. We use campaign analytics to understand which pages people visit and which links, ads, or posts brought them here. This includes pages viewed, referring site, campaign parameters in the URL, and general device and browser information. We use Attri for this, an analytics product built by our parent company, Petersson Holdings LLC.

Cookies

Our analytics sets a small number of first-party cookies and browser storage entries to connect a visit to the campaign that brought it (for example, remembering that you arrived from a specific ad). We don't run third-party advertising cookies, and we don't track you across other websites. You can block cookies in your browser and this site will still work.

How we use it

We use your contact information to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a customer, to deliver the service. We use analytics to see what's working on our own site, the same way we do for customers. We don't sell your information, and we won't add you to marketing lists you didn't ask for.

Who we share it with

Only the service providers we use to operate, and only what they need to do their job:

  • Vercel hosts this website.
  • Attri processes our contact form submissions and analytics. Attri is owned by our parent company and follows this same no-selling standard.
  • Google provides search data about our site through Search Console.

Beyond that, we'd only disclose information if the law required it.

If you're a LeadSight customer

Websites we build for customers include the same kind of analytics described here, so your monthly report reflects real visits and calls. Data about your website's visitors is used to report to you and improve your site. It is not sold or used to advertise to your visitors. We'll also help you put a privacy policy on your own site that describes this accurately.

How long we keep it

Inquiry information is kept as long as needed to handle your request, plus reasonable business records afterward. Customer information is kept for the life of the subscription and wound down after cancellation, except what we're required to keep for tax and legal records.

Your choices

You can ask us what we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it.Contact us and we'll handle it within 30 days. If you're emailing with us, you can ask us to stop anytime.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS, form submissions are protected against bots, and access to customer information is limited to the people who need it to do the work. No system is perfectly secure, but we keep the surface small: we don't collect payment details on this site today, and we don't store data we don't need.

Children

LeadSight is a business service. This site isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Changes

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top and, for customers, send an email before the change takes effect.
