Terms of service
Last updated: July 16, 2026
Who we are and what this covers
LeadSight is a service of Petersson Holdings LLC. These terms cover our subscription services: website build and hosting, content updates, local SEO, content publishing, and AEO work, as described on our pricing page. Subscribing to a plan means you agree to these terms.
The service
Each plan lists exactly what it includes. A few points worth spelling out:
- Content updates means changes to your existing site: text edits, photo swaps, price list changes, new service listings, and similar requests. We turn most updates around within two business days. A full redesign, a rebrand, or major new functionality is scoped separately (that's what Build a Package is for).
- Page and post counts are per your plan. Need more? Move up a plan or ask us to scope a custom package.
- Reasonable use applies to update requests. If request volume looks more like a dedicated staff role than site maintenance, we'll talk about a custom plan before anything changes.
What we need from you
- Accurate information about your business, and timely review of anything we draft for you. You know your trade; we rely on you to catch anything wrong about your services, pricing, licensing, or service area before it goes live.
- Materials you have the right to use. Photos, logos, and text you send us must be yours or properly licensed. You're responsible for claims made in content you approve.
- Authorization to act on your behalf with third-party services your plan includes, such as your Google Business Profile and Google Search Console. You keep ownership of those accounts; we manage them for you while you're subscribed.
Ownership: what's yours, what's licensed
- Your domain name is yours. Registered to you, stays with you, full stop.
- Your materials are yours. Photos, logos, and text you provide remain your property. You give us a license to use them to deliver the service.
- Content we write for you is yours. Blog posts and page copy we create for your site belong to you, including after you leave.
- The website build is licensed, not sold. The design, code, and hosting setup are ours, licensed to you while your subscription is active. The subscription is what keeps the site running.
Billing
- Plans are billed monthly, in advance. No setup fee, no long-term contract.
- If a payment fails, we'll let you know and retry. If it stays unpaid for 7 days, we may suspend the service (your site included) until the balance is settled. We don't delete anything during a suspension.
- We'll give you at least 30 days' notice before any price change. Your rate never changes mid-billing-period.
- There are no refunds for partial months when you cancel.
- If we ever terminate your service without cause, we'll refund the unused remainder of your billing period.
Cancellation and what you keep
Cancel anytime; service continues through the end of the paid period. Within 30 days of cancellation we will, at no charge:
- Hand back full control of your domain name,
- Return the materials you provided, and
- Give you copies of the blog posts and page copy we wrote for you.
The hosted website itself comes down when the subscription ends, since the build and hosting are part of the service. Your Google Business Profile stays yours; we simply stop managing it.
What we promise, and what we can't
We work in good faith to keep your site fast, secure, and online, and to improve your visibility on Google and in AI answers. But search rankings, AI citations, and lead volume depend on factors nobody controls, so we don't guarantee specific rankings, placement, or results. We also rely on third-party platforms (hosting providers, Google, analytics services), and we're not responsible for their outages or policy changes, though we'll always work to get you back up.
The service is provided as-is. Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the three months before the claim. We're not liable for indirect damages like lost profits or lost business. You agree to cover us if we're dragged into a claim caused by materials or claims you provided and approved.
Analytics on your site
Sites we build include analytics and campaign attribution so your monthly report reflects what's actually happening: visits, calls, form fills, and where they came from. We use Attri for this, which is built by our parent company, Petersson Holdings LLC. Your visitors' data is used to report to you, not sold.
Acceptable use
We work with lawful businesses. We may decline or remove content that's illegal, deceptive, or infringes someone else's rights, and we may terminate service for abuse, illegal activity, or repeated non-payment.
Changes to these terms
If we make a material change to these terms, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept the change; if you don't, you can cancel anytime.
Governing law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Minnesota. If something goes wrong, talk to us first; most problems are fixable in one conversation. If we can't work it out within 30 days, disputes go to small claims court or the state and federal courts located in Minnesota.
